Strategy Games Session for Parents and Children on 16 Nov 2019

Ashokan Ramakrishnan

Go non-digital as you start your holidays! Come and learn some research-tested strategy card games you can continue to play with your children throughout the year. Studies have shown that students who play these games once a week over a period of a year, reap academic improvements at an average of 25%!

Logicmills was founded by Dr. Mark Nowacki who has been teaching young children up to corporate professionals. He developed these games to teach children skills and good decision-making. These games have been tested with many MOE schools, and seen to have tremendous value in improving students' focus and performance.

For this event with SPARK, in order for children to take away the most benefits, a parent would need to be present to learn and play together with them, so that the play can be sustained over time and not be a one off event.
Age group of children: 7 to 16. Limited spaces available, so grab your tickets fast!
[Note: These games benefit all children, neurotypical and neurodiverse.]

Please purchase a ticket for every person attending. SPARK MEMBERS get a Members' rate for tickets for themselves and their children. You can register for membership at www.spark.org.sg, at $25 for a year, $40 for 2 years or $200 for lifetime membership.

Light refreshments will be provided at the event. If your child has strict dietary requirements, please feel free to bring your own snacks for the break time.
