Caregivers often pour their energy into supporting their loved ones β€” yet overlook their own emotional needs. Over time, this can lead to caregiver burnout, leaving them feeling drained, overwhelmed, and disconnected from their own sense of well-being.

This year's SPARK Seminar invites parents and caregivers to pause, reflect, and restore balance. Join us for an engaging afternoon focused on inner resilience, emotional regulation, and connection.

Two distinguished speakers β€” an award-winning author and a clinical psychologist β€” will share practical insights and heartfelt reflections to help caregivers care for themselves and nurture healthier family dynamics.

Our Speakers

🟣 Gavin Seah

Award-Winning Author | TEDx Speaker

Author of True Humility: Embrace Your Humanity. Transform Your Life (U.S. Edition)

Gavin Seah is a passionate advocate for authentic living and emotional wellness. Through his talks and writings, he helps individuals rediscover purpose and cultivate peace from within.

In his 1-hour keynote, "Inner Self-Building: Caregivers' Well-Being and Building Mental Resilience", Gavin will explore how caregivers can manage stress with humility, reconnect with their values, and build sustainable habits that nurture both inner calm and mental strength. Expect an uplifting and reflective session with practical takeaways for daily life.

🟣 Jiayong Lin

Registered Clinical Psychologist | Annabelle Psychology

Jiayong is a registered clinical psychologist who works extensively with children, adolescents, and families navigating emotional and behavioural challenges. His therapeutic approach integrates attachment-based practices, cognitive-behavioural strategies, and evidence-based interventions to strengthen family relationships and promote emotional well-being.

In his 1-hour talk, "Rewiring Connection: Nurturing Attachment and Emotion Regulation among Children with ADHD", Jiayong will explore how a child's emotional regulation is shaped by their attachment relationship with caregivers and complicated by ADHD. He will guide parents on recognising and gently reversing unhelpful response patternsβ€”such as dismissing, enmeshment, withdrawal or punishmentβ€”that often escalate child reactions and undermine regulation.

Participants will take part in small group discussions to reflect on their own family dynamics and explore practical ways to foster emotional safety, trust, and parent-child co-regulation at home.
