Skills Sets to Help ADHD Students in School

Speaker: Dennis Tan, Senior School Counsellor, St Andrew’s Junior School

Dennis Tan will talk about the skill sets needed to help ADHD students manage better in class and enjoy learning in school. For example, on how to engage during lessons, manage homework, and prepare for exams. He was a church youth pastor before becoming a school counsellor in 2007. He is now pursuing his certification in Choice Theory & Reality Therapy. Dennis is the Champion of the ACE Mentor Award 2016, which recognises educators who make significant contributions to the support of students with ADHD in schools.
