Re: Children June Holiday Brain Gym Course
Dear Mrs. Chin,
Thank you for forwarding my invitation. There were finally 6 parents from SPARKS. The course was successful.
I evaluated it with the children and I am glad to say, that all could remember and do correctly the most
important
movements. But I found out that it is urgently necessary to help the
parents as well. They are near a breakdown. I tried to help them with targeted
Brain Gym movements and a short meditation while the children were busy and most
of the parents gave me the feedback that they feel more relaxed. I am glad
to be able to help but this is only a drop in the ocean because if most of
the parents of SPARKS are burned-out, than there must something be done. I
could only help a few of them with some tools. But this is in the long
term
not enough. I know through my own experience how helpful Brain Gym can be
and I recommend the SPARK'S parents to learn Brain Gym to have a powerful
permanent tool for their daily life to be able to relax and prevent stress
and burning out. Thinking that Brain Gym is only for children is wrong. It
is for the parents as well. It helps them to let go the stress in the body
and activate the brain to learn/be open for new things, regain the choice
and act stress-free - even the children will benefit. It will also help
the
parents to get rid of their deep feeling of guilt that their child is
different/they can't spent enough time/have done something wrong that the
child is the way it is etc. As you know, this guilt can be really draining
and destructive.
I will call you in the next days and wish you a wonderful weekend.
Kind regards,
Brigitte Boller
