  • For about 1/3 of the ADHD / ADD children, the hyperactivity may be replaced by restlessness, but problems with impulsiveness, inattention and disorganisation remain.
  • About 1/3 will continue to have most of ADHD / ADD symptoms as adults (more likely to be those who were not properly managed when they were young?).

  • Successful people are probably those who have encountered more failures than others and have learnt more as a result. They are merely those who tried more (i.e. succeed and fail more)
  • Some individual with high intellectual capacity may not achieve much in life because they give up too easily?
    • They are used to being successful in most of the things they do when they are young and are not used to failures
    • Their inability to cope / or not being used to coping with failures restrict their potential for further success that they are capable of

4.4. Individuals with ADHD may succeed as inventors, writers, artists, designers, businessmen, or in stimulating environment such as fire safety, law enforcement, or the military.
