20. How can I help the ADHD child improve his handwriting?

20.1. Wheelbarrow walk (holds the child's legs with the body horizontal and have the child walk using his arms)

20.2. Monkey bars to exercise and arm and wrist muscles

20.3. Have the child help you to tear papers that needs to be shredded. This help the child develop better wrist and finger muscles which are essential for good hand-writing

20.4. Any other exercises that help the child to improve his arm/wrist/upper back muscles (e.g. badminton, dumb-bell exercises, etc.)

20.5. Teach the ADHD child the different shapes and sizes of the characters in the alphabet (for small and Capital letters). Also teach the ADHD child the different starting points for each character, relative to the shape of the character.

20.6. Compare his handwriting with his previous work (not with peers' standards) and comment on any improvement.
